DBT/Emotion Regulation Skills Group
This 10 week group will focus on emotional regulation skills based off of Dialetical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Techniques
Eligible Participants: High School aged students currently receiving therapy or who are recommended by a mental health professional.
Focus: Managing “Big Feelings” so the feelings don’t manage them. Teens will come away with a tool box of skills basedon DBT techniques to use when emotions take charge. The group is appropriate for teens who struggle with anxiety, depression, self-harm, anger, and other emotional dysregulation.
Cost: $650 for 10 weeks and $75 for initial assessment for appropriateness for group. Group is NOT billable to insurances.
*Those utilizing post-permanency services may talk to your SWAN representative as the group may be paid for by funding.
