
Macy is working toward becoming a professionally licensed counselor and is a graduate from Messiah University. Macy is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families work through personal, emotional, and relational struggles they are experiencing. She has experience working with clients faced with a variety of struggles, including depression, anxiety, and relationship tension.
Macy loves people, and believes every person has a unique story to share. She takes a systemic approach to working with clients, and strongly acknowledges the impact interactions and experiences we have with those closest to us, can have on our lives. She works to help others, by providing a safe space for them to share their experiences; and helps clients to discover tools that can assist them in working through the struggles they are faced with.
Macy works with clients using solution-focused therapy as well as cognitive behavioral therapy techniques. When working with clients with a history of trauma Macy utilizes EMDR. Through counseling, she aims to equip clients with the tools needed to establish and work toward practical goals t0 help them experience growth and healing throughout their journey.
Macy enjoys working with individuals and couples. She especially enjoys middle school aged pre-teens and teenagers as well as young adults transitioning into or out of college. Macy is comfortable providing faith based counseling upon request.
In her free time, Macy enjoys writing, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
