Do you find yourself stuck repeating actions that don’t match the person you want to be? Do struggles like anxiety, depression, and obsessions make your goals seem impossible to attain or make life simply unbearable?

As a foster or adoptive parent, do you wonder if trauma-background dysregulation and pain will ever turn to peace and healing? Or as a child, teen, or young adult, does your own trauma leave you wondering if you will ever feel whole?

Whether you’re simply wanting to grow, major mental health struggles are a constant battle, or trauma is terrorizing your life, there is hope.

There is hope that empirical, empathetic techniques and the power of supernatural attachment to God can not only heal but result in redemption and powerful stories of beauty.

Imagine getting past surviving to actually thriving well. More than you could ask or imagine is possible.

For over a decade, I’ve watched individuals thrive in successful, happy, relationally-healthy lives even in the face of major mental health, trauma, and adoption struggles. I’d love to walk that path with you!

Through practicum and internship at Matters of the Heart, I am finishing up a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with Liberty University. I have spent the past five years working with youth and trauma-background students in a K-12 setting. In church settings I have led small groups and one-on-one meetings with youth and adults most of my life.

Born a missionary kid in China, now a military spouse and mother of two, I love reading the Bible, writing, my huge extended family, and a good, deep conversation.
