Rachael Raffa
Licensed Associate Professional Counselor
It can be difficult to process uncomfortable emotions in an unfamiliar setting and within a new person. At the beginning of every session, a welcoming and safe invitation is extended without judgment and filled with empathy. This environment supports expressions of vulnerability from clients when they are comfortable and ready to do so.
Experience
Rachael is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with experience in 3 levels of care within behavioral and mental health settings. The integration of continued education, insight, and field experience has guided her work with a range of individuals between preschool age and individuals looking towards retirement. The client experience is filled with meaningful moments as courage is displayed in the decision to attend therapy, find a location and therapist, schedule an intake appointment, and arrive for the intake along with future sessions. In the therapy process, Rachael seeks to be a guide in the steps towards increasing insight, confidence, healthy experiences, and repeated practice to develop new routines.
