Counseling for PTSD

Matters of the Heart Counseling has several counselors who specialize in working with those who have experienced trauma.  Trauma can be defined as a single event or series of events, that changed an individual’s world view and view of themselves.  People who have a history of trauma hold negative self beliefs and with the work of a skilled therapist, clients examine those negative beliefs and how those beliefs impact their day to day life.
