Taking the first step towards counseling can be intimidating, whether it's your initial session or your first time meeting with a new therapist. At my practice, I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment that will put you at ease and create a welcoming and inclusive counseling experience
My approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, while also incorporating various models to cater to your specific needs and desires. I'm passionate about empowering clients to express their thoughts and ideas, and working with them to achieve their desired outcomes.
Throughout the therapeutic process, my role is fluid, providing you with support, encouragement, accountability, empathy, mental stimulation, and skill development
Experience
I am a graduate of Messiah University with my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist.
I previously worked in the adoption field and both my professional and personal life experience in adoption inform my ability to help individuals and families.
