Substance Use Disorder Counseling

Substance abuse counseling is a specialized form of therapy and support aimed at helping individuals who are struggling with addiction to various substances, such as alcohol, drugs, or prescription medications. The primary goal of substance abuse counseling is to assist individuals in overcoming their addiction, managing cravings, and achieving long-term recovery. At Matters of the Heart Counseling, we take a holistic approach to working with substance abuse disorders.  This may include interventions such as EMDR, Neurofeedback, and traditional counseling.  We strive to include family, when appropriate, to foster healing in relationships.  Hillary and Katlyn are both experienced in working with individuals and families struggling with substance abuse.  For more information please contact us at
