Esther Henrie

Counselor Intern

“From the cradle to the grave, humans desire a certain someone who will look out for them, notice and value them, soothe their wounds, reassure them in life’s difficult places, and hold them in the dark.”

― Susan M. Johnson, The Practice of Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy: Creating Connection

Perhaps you are overwhelmed, exhausted, ashamed, scared, or grieved by your current circumstances. Together, we can begin to untangle your hurt and find direction in life’s storms. I strive to offer a safe space, collaborative environment, and integrative therapeutic approach as we address your needs and evaluate your goals.

I have also interned at Clare House, working with homeless families, and Upward Call, a faith-based counseling organization.
