Macy Stanley, MA, NCC

Macy is working toward becoming a professionally licensed counselor and is a graduate from Messiah University. Macy is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families work through personal, emotional, and relational struggles they are experiencing.

Macy loves people, and believes every person has a unique story to share. She takes a systemic approach to working with clients, and strongly acknowledges the impact interactions and experiences  we have with those closest to us, can have on our lives. She works to help others, by providing a safe space for them to share their experiences; and helps clients to discover tools that can assist them in working through the struggles they are faced with.

Macy works with clients of all ages and especially enjoys supporting pre-teens, teenagers, and young adults as they navigate many life transitions. Macy integrates counseling approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Internal Family Systems to help clients meet their desired goals. When working with clients with a history of trauma, Macy utilizes EMDR. She is also trained in Sand Tray therapy. Macy specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression, low self-esteem, and trauma.  Macy offers Christian faith based counseling upon request.

In her free time, Macy enjoys writing, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
