Salem Longer

We’ve all been there - life has presented challenge after challenge, and we start to feel overwhelmed, burnt out, and tired of our current reality.

Together, we will create and work through unique goals to help manage these difficulties. I will use a holistic therapeutic approach to address your individual needs.

I strive to create a safe, collaborative environment for you to face these challenges head-on, and learn ways to manage life’s stress

I am a Master’s Level Intern currently studying at Lebanon Valley College. I am in my last few months of my program, and will graduate with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have prior experience working with children & adolescents in a partial outpatient hospital setting, where I taught clients a variety of coping skills to help them manage everyday life. I has experience working with issues such as depression and anxiety.

Client Focus: Children 8 and older, Adolescents

Types of therapy: CBT, DBT

The types of issues I work with include Anxiety and  depression, self harm, self esteem, and life transitions

After a long day, I love to make some hot tea, wrap up in a blanket, and crochet. My favorite project I’ve made has been a watermelon blanket! I also have found a recent love for weightlifting.

Salem sees clients at a reduced rate of $55 a session and sees clients at our Landisville and Elizabethtown Offices
